The new search for work vouchers has started on September 1, 2022. All young people aged 15-17 from Muonio who are full-time students can apply for work vouchers. Also those who have already been granted a work voucher this year and those who have been employed in the municipality's summer jobs can now apply for a work voucher again. The value of the work voucher is €250 and must be used within 4 months from the date of issue. The work voucher can be used for paid work in a company, association, cooperative or parish that has an office in Muonio. The work voucher can also be used for your own business activities. At least 60 hours of work must be accumulated. The work voucher is available until the end of the year. You can apply for a work voucher by filling out the application found on the municipality's website and submitting it to youth services.
The municipality of Muonio employs around 20-30 young people every year. In 2021, a new youth employment model has been introduced, which allows young people, unlike before, to get a job with a work voucher at any time of the year in local companies, associations, cooperatives or parishes OR start their own summer company OR apply for summer jobs offered by the municipality.

Using the Kuntarekry
Summer jobs are applied for by logging into the Kuntarekry.fi recruitment system, where the applicant must register. Your own username and password are created in the system and must be kept carefully. Log in. Fill out the application form carefully. If you wish, you can attach, for example, a CV and copies of certificates to the application. After you have filled out the application form, the application is sent from the "Send application" button. After this, a view will open that reads "The application was successfully sent". This is a sign that the application is available to the employer. The applicant's email address will receive a confirmation that the application has been saved in the Kuntarekry system. If you don't receive a message within a few hours, you should check the spam folder of your e-mail box.
